Michelham Private Patients Unit

The Michelham Unit was commissioned to provide a dedicated private healthcare facility within the support of a District General Hospital.

The Unit is open 360 days of the year and accepts pre-booked and emergency admissions. Transfers from other wards and hospitals are welcome. Michelham is an established major acute centre providing a variety of surgical and medical specialities with immediate access to intensive care, high dependency and coronary care units unique to the Eastbourne area.

The Unit comprises 21 en-suite rooms which within a secluded environment, offers the following facilities:
• Dedicated nursing and therapy staff
• Efficient hotel services team
• A comprehensive A La Carte menu provided by our own chef
• Air Conditioning
• Telephone and satellite television
• Licensed for alcohol
